We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services and are now seeking a qualified solicitor to join our growing team in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional to play a key role in progressing cases, with clear prospects for career advancement within a supportive and collaborative working environment.





We're looking for someone experienced in civil litigation and with a good understanding of financial mis-selling cases. You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of claims, including matters that are litigated, and contributing to the development of junior staff when necessary.




Required Skills and Experienc




Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) Proven experience handling civil litigation case Sound understanding of financial mis-selling compensation claims Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) or consumer credit/financial services law Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads effectively Reliable, efficient and organised in your approach to work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional and courteous at all time Strong time management and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Proficient in IT systems including Adobe, Word and Excel




Desirable (but not essential)




Previous experience with group litigation or omnibus claims Familiarity with the latest developments in PCP/car finance commission claims and FCA regulations Experience mentoring or training junior legal staff in litigation procedures and CPR



Key Responsibilities




Handling PCP/car finance commission mis-selling claims Managing client details and case files using our case management systems Progressing claims from initial instruction to final resolution, including litigated matters Drafting and submitting complaints to FCA-regulated firms, brokers, FOS, and FSCS, and issuing legal proceedings as needed Managing the full litigation process including drafting pleadings, track allocation, witness statements, disclosure, and trial preparation (bundling, briefing Counsel, etc.) Providing training and guidance to junior staff and paralegals
