Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled PCV Coach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires adherence to traffic regulations and company policies, as well as maintaining the vehicle in good working order. and Driver would be doing different type of jobs from Contract work, Private Hires & Tours.

Responsibilities

Operate the bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, ensuring passenger comfort. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during transport. Handle minor mechanical issues or report them to maintenance staff as necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience driving flatbed vehicles is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations can be beneficial in understanding logistics related to passenger transport.
