PDI Technician

Job summary:

Working as a PDI Technician at our Chesterfield PDI Centre, you will be responsible for carrying out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) on Brand New vehicles. Every new vehicle is required to undergo a stringent quality check before being passed through to our valeting team for onward delivery to customers.



As a PDI technician you will be working day to day in a workshop environment testing and checking the mechanical and technological components of new vehicles ensuring they meet the required standards. You will be using the latest manufacturer software and systems as part of the PDI administration process.



The role also gives an excellent entry level opportunity to those looking to retrain for a career in the Retail motor industry.

Qualifications:

A keen interest in motor vehicles is essential, with NVQ Technician qualifications and previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician desirable. A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations. An enthusiastic and optimistic manner, taking responsibility for your actions and decisions. An organised and methodical approach to problem solving. A driving license free from excessive penalties is essential.


JCT600 will provide in-house training that is designed to keep you fully up to speed with the latest Manufacturer requirements. We will ensure that throughout your career with JCT600, you will continue to enhance your skills through internal and external training programs
