PDMS Designer - outside IR35 contract - Manchester

We currently have an immediate requirement for a PDMS Designer, working with a leading engineering contractor, based in the Manchester area.

If you have experience producing PDMS/3D models including HVAC, bracketry, chilled Water pipework and small steelwork please read on.

As a PDMS Designer, you will provide 3D modelling services working on large scale Nuclear projects, ensuring design models and deliverables can be progressed.

Role Responsibilities/Requirements:

Production of PDMS models for bracketry, HVAC ductwork, chilled water pipework and associated small steelwork.

Generation of design outputs (general arrangements, drawings, material take-offs) directly from PDMS.

Development and update of model layouts, ensuring alignment with project specifications.

As a PDMS Designer, provide independent clash detection and model coordination across multi-disciplinary systems.

Support and review supplier 3D models advising on compliance and integration.

Create and maintain PDMS models for HVAC/Mechanical systems.

Experience producing HVAC/Mechanical models using PDMS.

This position requires regular office attendance so you must be located in the Manchester/North West or be willing to travel/work away (hybrid work is on offer but it is not fully remote).

If you have experience as a PDMS Designer on HVAC systems, this position can offer a generous day rate as an outside IR35 contractor.

Pay: 50.00-60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
