, we are expanding our delivery team and looking for an enthusiastic

School Sports Coach

to help us bring high-quality physical education and extra-curricular sport to primary school children across the North East.

This varied role will involve delivering engaging physical activity sessions during school hours, leading a range of extra-curricular sports clubs, and contributing to our growing community sport projects. The position also includes opportunities to work with local sports teams during evenings and on weekends.

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver structured and engaging physical activity sessions to primary school pupils (ages 5-11), with a focus on building confidence, teamwork, and motor skills. Run lunchtime and after-school clubs that encourage active lifestyles and inclusive participation. Support curriculum-aligned PE lessons in partnership with teaching staff. Help deliver community-based sport sessions in the evenings and coach at a grassroots football club on Saturday mornings.
What We're Looking For:

At least two years' experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school or sports education environment. Ideally a minimum Level 2 coaching qualification in a recognised sport or physical activity discipline. Confidence in delivering fun, adaptable sessions suitable for all skill levels. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate children.
Working Hours:

Term time: 25 hours per week, delivered flexibly between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. School holidays: Up to 40 hours per week available through holiday sports provision and camps.
Additional Info:

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as the role involves travelling between partner schools.
