P.e Coach / Sports Specialist

Manchester, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

FIFTH Movement on the lookout for an exceptional freelance P.E Coach / Sports Specialist who can do more than just run a game of dodgeball, we need a leader, a planner, a motivator, and a real role model for primary-aged children.

This is an opportunity to:

Plan and deliver outstanding P.E. lessons that align with the National Curriculum. Run vibrant, engaging lunchtime and after-school clubs that children love coming back to week after week. Be part of a company that values movement, mindset, and moments -- not just ticking through sessions.

What We're Looking For:

Real experience working with children in KS1 and KS2 -- you know how to keep sessions both fun and structured. Behaviour management skills that allow you to command a room with positivity and authority. A confident planner who can independently design sessions that fit into the school's curriculum and boost participation. A true passion for sports, physical activity, and encouraging children to thrive physically, socially, and emotionally. Someone who shares FIFTH Movement's values: positivity, professionalism, playfulness, and purpose.

Must-Haves:

An Enhanced DBS Certificate (issued within the last 3 years). Ideally, up-to-date Safeguarding Training. A UK driving license and access to a car, you'll be commuting across schools within Manchester Council. A flexible, can-do attitude, our schools and children deserve your best energy every session. Availability during school hours for P.E. lessons and lunchtime/after-school slots for clubs.

Pay:

15-25 per hour

depending on the type of work (P.E delivery vs. clubs).

Who We Are:

FIFTH Movement is on a mission to transform children's experiences of movement and learning. We believe physical activity should build confidence, resilience, and joy not just fitness. Our team is committed to high standards, positive impact, and creating a real difference across Manchester's schools.
