Are you an experienced PE Teacher looking for a new role within a growing education provision in Blackheath, London? Look no further In toto ed has a fantastic opportunity to join our In toto ed team in making a real difference to our students lives.

We teach in small groups with a dedicated and experienced teaching team, ensuring that each student receives individual attention and care. We create individual learning packages to support our students' needs.
Main Duties
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including NCFE Level 2 Sports Coaching and Gym Instructing.
Differentiate teaching to support all learners and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Lead extra-curricular clubs, teams, and sporting events, promoting active participation and wellbeing.
Build links with community sports organisations and contribute to whole-school enrichment.
Support curriculum development, use of facilities, and safe practice in all activities.
Uphold safeguarding and health & safety policies, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.
Engage in professional development and collaborative departmental work.

About You
Essential
Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities.
Experience planning and delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons.
Effective behaviour management and ability to motivate students.
Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding, health & safety, and promoting wellbeing.
Complete Child Protection Training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young person's they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
Willingness to lead extra-curricular clubs, teams, and school events.
Desirable
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
Experience teaching PE across Key Stages 3-5.
Experience delivering NCFE Level 2 Sports Coaching or Gym Instructing.
Coaching or officiating qualifications in specific sports.
Experience using community sports facilities or partnerships.
Contribution to curriculum or enrichment development.
First Aid qualification.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
