Boom Sports delivers fun, active, and learning based childcare schemes for children in primary schools.
We are seeking a PE Teacher to work within our primary school settings. This role requires an individual who is confident, active, and enthusiastic with the ability to engage children aged 4-11 years through sports, education, and recreational activities.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver PE lessons (Reception to Year 6) aligned with the national curriculum.
Breakfast Club - you will play a key role in crafting engaging experiences for children aged 4-11. Your responsibilities will include leading a variety of activities, such as sports, active games, arts and crafts, word games, number games, and more, both indoors and outdoors.
Lead lunchtime sports sessions, delivering a range of activities including football, basketball, and more.
This role requires a confident, knowledgeable, and adaptable individual who can effectively engage and inspire young people.
Maintain high teaching standards and collaborate with school staff.
Requirements:
Degree in Physical Education or a related field (preferred).
Experience teaching PE and working with children (mandatory).
Sports coaching qualification and ability to deliver Dance & Gymnastics PE lessons.
Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a background check.
First Aid and Child Safeguarding training.
Strong organizational and behaviour management skills.
Live within 30 minutes of Perivale.
Job Details:
Breakfast Club: Monday to Friday, 7:20 - 8:50am.
Lunchtime Sports: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
PE Lessons: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 3:15 PM.
Pay: 16.00 - 18.50 per hour (depending on experience).
