Job Description

Evolve Sports Academy is an alternative education sports coaching programme. Using sport as a tool, we deliver qualifications in Sports Leadership and Functional Skills to secondary school students who have been excluded/at risk of exclusion from school. We have an exciting opportunity for a PE Teacher/Academy Manager to join our team (term-time only). This position is well-suited to a passionate and motivated person who is looking to make a difference in young people's lives through the power of sport.

The successful candidate would initially work across Chesterfield and Rotherham.

PE Teacher Responsibilities:



Delivering engaging theory and practical lessons. Creating positive relationships with young people, parents, and carers. Creating positive relationships with schools. Managing challenging behaviour. Completing in-house administration (attendance, weekly reports, and half-term reports). Arranging for guest speakers to attend the programme. Arranging sporting events for young people throughout the academic year. Supporting with setting up community projects in line with the Directors vision. Supporting with quality assurance processes.

PE Teacher/Area Manager Requirements:



PGCE (QTLS or QTS preferred). Sports degree (preferred) Sports coaching background. Experience in working with secondary school students. Experience in an alternative education setting (preferred). Experience in delivering coaching sessions.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000.00-27,000.00 per year
