Job Description

The role for the Pension Lawyer is within the pensions team who advises employers, trustees, financial institutions, intermediaries, Governmental bodies and bidders and sellers on all aspects of occupational and increasingly personal pension arrangements. Along with providing clients with both domestic and cross-border pensions expertise.

  • Provide advice and support on complex pensions matters, including regulatory compliance and governance.
  • Draft and review documentation related to pension schemes and fund structures.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive advice on pensions issues.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in pensions law and ensure compliance with legislative changes.
  • Assist clients with dispute resolution and litigation related to pensions, where applicable.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust in services.
  • Support the wider legal team in achieving departmental objectives and targets.

A successful Pension Lawyer should have:
