Join Our Team as a Pensions Officer at Thames Valley Police
Are you ready to make a profound impact in the rewarding world of pensions? Thames Valley Police is on the lookout for a Pensions Officer to join our Finance team at our Headquarters in Kidlington. This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week) that offers a competitive salary starting at 38,719, rising annually to 39,916 per annum.

As our Pension Officer you will support the Pension team in managing all aspects of our workplace pension schemes. You will need to be detail orientated, able to meet strict deadlines, manage pension processes and payments, and provide guidance to members. You will have opportunities for knowledge development and be able to contribute to policy and best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate pension records.
Extract and manage pension data from payroll.
Authorise and check leaver notifications and pension quotes.
Provide guidance on pension schemes to staff and officers.
Monitor and report on pension contribution rates.
Oversee lump sum payments and pension refunds.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and FOI guidelines.
Cover for colleagues during absences.
Assist with year-end pension data collation.
