The Opportunity:

You will be using data and complex models to explore vast financial landscapes, advising industry giants, and making a tangible difference to the lives of millions of pension scheme members.

Your Role:

This is a consulting-based role with a technical focus which will involve a broad mixture of client and non-client work. Upon joining LCP you will join several project teams of varying sizes, each made up of people from analyst to partner level, working for a range of types of client. The type of work you can expect to be involved in as an analyst in the role include:

Data readiness assessment for endgame strategy, including buy-in, buy-out and member option exercises Undertaking data cleanse projects for schemes, including benefit tranching and legacy scheme reconstruction. Many of these projects are fast-paced and high-profile, providing an opportunity to work at the centre of a scheme's strategic decision-making. Large-scale benefit rectification projects e.g. Barber window extension, GMP rectification, GMP equalisation Building and using complex pensions models to analyse data and perform calculations at both individual and scheme level Using LCP's in-house software to model rectification of pension scheme benefits and produce analysis for client reports Drafting advice, letters and reports for client Attending internal and client meetings Supporting pension schemes with data readiness and cleansing activities, helping them ensure their data is accurate and aligned with strategic needs Supporting communications with clients and their advisers as part of wide-ranging projects Data analysis and checks relating to pension risk transfer and post-transaction administration Preparing figures and analysing the impact of rectifications on pension schemes

You'll also be working alongside leading professionals in the sector and learning from their experiences

What We're Looking For:



A Level Maths A Grade Degree educated (minimum 2:1) or currently studying for a degree and on track to achieve a 2:1, in any subject Problem solving, numeracy and analytical skills Excellent communication skills
