We're looking for an experienced
People and Development Manager
to lead our HR function and champion a culture of growth, inclusion, and wellbeing across the Students' Union. As an independent charity representing 22,000+ students, we provide a host of services and opportunities to inspire, represent, support and entertain the students of the University of Leicester. We exist to build a community that enables all students to thrive, belong and succeed and we need your help to achieve that vision.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all aspects of the employee journey - from recruitment and onboarding to learning and development - ensuring our people have the tools, support, and environment they need to thrive. You'll also play a key role in shaping HR policies, advising managers, and driving initiatives that make LSU a great place to work.
What we're looking for:
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
Proven HR generalist experience, with strong knowledge of employment law and policy
A collaborative leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
Passion for supporting people and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace
