We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Newton Aycliffe. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting all aspects of HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, and employee relations.
As our HR Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our HR function; ensuring smooth and efficient processes that support our people and uphold compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
You'll work closely with hiring managers and employees to deliver a positive HR experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including job adverts, interview scheduling, and new starter documentation.
Maintain accurate HR records, process employee changes, and support payroll administration.
Act as a first point of contact for HR queries and support employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR, and internal policies.
Coordinate training programs and assist with performance reviews and development planning.
Essential Requirements
Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information.
Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence (ability to travel between sites if needed).
