People Data & Reporting Specialist (6 Month Ftc)

Job Description

We are looking for a collaborative project lead with experience aligning people data, processes, and governance to significantly enhance the provision of people reporting and data at Hayfin.


To achieve the firm's key commercial goals our leaders require accurate, timely and valued added reporting and analysis of our key asset: our people. Alignment of our various HR data sets, streamlining/automation of associated workflows and designing a 1.0 M.I. suite are the first steps towards that goal.


This is a role with an aim to start immediately: initially a 6 month fixed term contract, with potential to be extended.

DELIVERABLES



Streamline and integrate management of people data: + Update mapping of data sources & architecture across key HR team systems (Success Factors (SF), Workable, Compensation tools/trackers) + Identify misalignment with SF data architecture, propose and prioritise solutions
+ Build reports, tools and associated workflows to integrate data sources
Draft full HR MI suite and socialise with key stakeholders Identify and fill gaps in HR team procedure documentation incl. controls Document existing governance framework and propose amendments Develop data resilience framework and plan Ensure changes to systems, processes and governance are socialised and signed off by key stakeholders including ExCo Work with key stakeholders to develop and ambitious long term vision for people data and reporting including road map for delivery. Could include: + Fully integrated look through data processing + Live dashboards
+ Integration of HR data flows with firmwide systems
+ Integration of firmwide (non-HR) MI into HR systems, e.g. performance monitoring and feedback
+ Development of advanced statistics providing value added insight on drivers of performance

Requirements



CAPABILIITY



Familiarity with complex people data Established expertise in reporting and analytics Able to rapidly understand and manipulate existing database/workflow tools Procedure & governance documentation (including appropriate controls) Project Management: planning & execution incl. managing interdependencies, driving accountability and delivery across teams Advanced Excel essential. Knowledge of SuccessFactors/SAS reporting systems an advantage

PROFILE



High calibre junior to mid level (5+years experience) generalist Experience gained from a consulting/professional services background, or from a similar inhouse function Familiarity with people data/systems/process * Strong generalist skill set: able to quickly understand issues and the drive/ motivation to independently produce and drive delivery, providing genuine leverage to the existing team
