We're looking for an organised, knowledgeable and forward-thinking People Advisor to help make a real difference. In this busy and varied role, the People Advisor is the go-to generalist HR person for the Four Anjels team. This includes providing right first time HR information, advice and coordination throughout the employee lifecycle, including managing systems and training records.
Whilst keeping the operational HR activity running smoothly day to day, the People Advisor also works closely with the Group People team, contributing to the development of People Plans and playing a key role in making positive changes happen. What You'll Be Doing
Ensure a timely and accurate response to queries around policies, procedures and HR best practice.
Hold weekly drop in sessions for the Four Anjels team.
Build and maintain great working relationships across the Four Anjels and Olidor teams.
Support hiring managers with recruitment, selection and inductions.
Produce offers, contracts, leavers letters and other standard HR correspondence throughout the employee lifecycle.
Request and provide employment references.
Keep manual and electronic HR systems up to date and GDPR compliant.
Support managers with leave and absence management.
Run reports from our HR systems and produce monthly adjustments for payroll.
Support our management team to develop highly engaged, high performing teams, including by coordinating the performance review process.
Organise training and e-learning, update training records, track compliance and identify refresher training dates.
Administer rewards, benefits and the annual pay review process.
Support employee relations issues, escalating to the Group People team as needed.
Represent the People team in meetings, notetaking and following up actions.
Following training, support external audits into HR policies and ethical practices.
Organise team events, milestone celebrations and fundraising activities.
Work closely with the Group People team on value-adding project work to continuously improve the employee experience.
What You'll Bring
Experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
Food manufacturing industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
CIPD L5 or equivalent, or willing to study with Company support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail including whilst working at pace.
Very organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
A growth mindset and a supportive nature as we guide others through change.
A proactive, flexible and collaborative outlook.
IT proficiency including MS Office, HR and learning management systems.
Sound judgement about using initiative or escalating and involving others.
A genuine passion for people and a dedication to employee engagement.

How We Work Together
Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Due to the industry an on-site presence is preferred at our office in Bishops Cleeve, near Cheltenham. Flexible working arrangements will be considered on request.
