Align People HR is a growing HR consultancy, established in 2019. We are now seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team and play a key role in supporting our continued growth.

Our Purpose is to support SMEs to grow productive, healthy and inclusive businesses with fully aligned and engaged employees. We offer professional and flexible HR support to SME clients promoting positive work cultures and values along the way, which just happens to be our way of working too.

We work with a variety of SMEs in different sectors including energy, technology, consultancy, hospitality and professional services. We provide a full HR service to our clients, helping them attract, recruit, retain and develop their people. We offer professional HR expertise on a flexible basis and at a level that is appropriate to our clients' size and requirements.

We are looking for an individual who can bring something special to our team. This is an exciting and varied HR role, with a focus on employee relations activity. You will also have the opportunity to undertake HR projects and be involved in business development activities. Key Responsibilities:



General HR Support:



Supporting our clients with the full employee lifecycle, delivering an outstanding employee experience Support clients with HR policy development, updates and implementation Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR Preparation and delivery of HR reports including identifying recommendations for clients Support team with social media & marketing activity Attendance at client meetings to support consultants as required

Employee Relations:



Advise on ER cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and redundancies Support clients with change management processes, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice Coach and guide managers on handling people matters effectively

Learning and Development:



Design and deliver engaging training sessions for clients Work with clients to identify skill gaps and create tailored development programmes

Client and Business Development:



Build strong client relationships, becoming a trusted HR partner Identify opportunities to enhance our service offering and contribute to business growth

About You



You will be a highly motivated, flexible team member with a real can-do attitude who can hit the ground running with generalist HR responsibilities. We are looking for the following:

Qualifications/Experience



At least 5 years' HR experience, ideally including employee relations case management CIPD Level 5 minimum or equivalent experience Experience working in a consultancy or multi-client environment (Desirable) Experience working across multiple industry sectors (Desirable) Full, clean driving license and access to your own car

Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships Excellent communication and listening skills High levels of personal integrity and maintaining strict Align People HR and client business confidence A self-starter who is highly organised and able to work autonomously Forward thinking and creative, see and make suggestions for improvements Excellent MS Office and IT skills with ability to prepare high quality written work and other communication materials including spreadsheets and presentations Professional and credible style to provide excellent customer experience Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to drafting documentation Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure, with the ability to meet project timelines and deadlines Willing to develop knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and development Ability to work from home

Working hours are full time, 4 days a week, 34 hours. We offer hybrid working and as a team we work from home on a Friday each week.

The successful applicant for this role will be required to have the permanent right to work in the UK.

Our offices are currently based in Westhill and we will be relocating to Portlethen in the next few months.
