Join Gist at an exciting time as we expand into a brand-new distribution site in partnership with Marks & Spencer. We're looking for an experienced HR People Manager with strong union experience in logistics, FMCG, or retail to lead the people strategy across our Thornbury & Avonmouth sites.

Role details:
Salary: Circa 62,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Bristol - Thornbury & Avonmouth
What you'll do:
Lead HR strategy for our new flagship site
Manage closure of legacy sites and colleague transitions
Drive engagement, capability, and succession planning
Advise on ER, policy, and employment law
Coach managers and develop HR Advisors
Support projects including TUPE, restructures, and retention
Who you are:
Proven HR leadership in logistics, FMCG, retail, or manufacturing
Strong people management and ER experience
Unionised environment exposure
Strategic thinking and change delivery
CIPD qualification (preferred)
Credibility to influence senior stakeholders
