We're currently recruiting for a dedicated People Partner to join our dynamic team within our Best Food Logistics business.

This role will be based in Royton supporting the site and also our Central Functions.
You will be responsible for
Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business growth
Provide expert advice on complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law
Manage talent, support development, and succession planning
Work on organisational design and change management initiatives
Use data to support people-focused initiatives
Champion colleague engagement, wellbeing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion
Focus on performance and absence management
Maintain strong relationships with Trade Union representatives
This role is initially on a 6 month basis but has the possibility for extension or becoming a permanent position.
You will need
CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous but not essential
Strong people partnering experience
Experience with Trade Unions and ideally in a blue-collar environment
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Knowledge of employment law and employee relations management
A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
People Management experience
Experience in a fast-paced environment, such as distribution or retail
