People Partner - Employee Relations & Projects

- The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused People Partner - Employee Relations & Projects to join our dynamic and collaborative People Team. This is a critical role that blends hands-on employee relations expertise with the opportunity to lead and support a range of strategic HR initiatives that contribute to Broadstone's continued growth and evolution.

Working closely with leaders across the business, you will act as a trusted advisor on a wide range of people matters while also delivering projects that support our high-performance, people-first culture.

People Partner - Employee Relations & Projects

- Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice and support to managers on a range of complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistent, fair, and legally compliant outcomes. Lead investigations, disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management processes, driving timely and effective resolutions. Coach and develop line managers to increase confidence and capability in managing people issues. Work collaboratively with internal legal, compliance, and risk colleagues to mitigate employee relations risk and uphold best practice. Support and lead HR projects and change initiatives including policy development, organisational change, well-being programmes, and employee engagement. Analyse HR and ER data to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions that improve employee experience and minimise risk. Partner with colleagues across the People function - including Operations, Talent and L&D - to ensure integrated and aligned people solutions that meet business needs. Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture where employees feel supported and empowered.

People Partner - Employee Relations & Projects

- You:

Proven experience in a generalist HR role with a strong focus on employee relations, ideally within a professional or financial services environment. Confident managing complex casework and able to navigate sensitive issues with sound judgement, empathy, and professionalism. Track record of contributing to or leading HR projects and change initiatives. Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice HR approaches. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving organisation. CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
