As a

People Partner - Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

you'll be at the heart of our dynamic M&A team, driving the successful integration of people workstreams across acquisition projects.


From due diligence to post-deal execution, youll ensure a seamless transition, collaborating with stakeholders to align cultures, policies, and talent strategies. Key Responsibilities

:


Support all People/HR/employment law issues arising during Fletchers M&A activity, from due diligence of employment matters to integration and harmonisation Provide People/HR expertise to the multidisciplinary integration team for each M&A project. Support the delivery of the People integration plan for each business acquisition Support the design and delivery of the agreed plan for each M&A integration project, including co-ordination and follow-up of all actions. Contribute to the development of bespoke People materials (letters, benefits documents etc) required for each M&A integration. Support operational managers with People issues before, during and throughout the integration process. Work collaboratively and proactively with Fletchers People Leadership Team to ensure consistency of approach to each Acquisition, whilst also sharing Lessons Learned to ensure continuous improvement and best colleague experience Manage the people impact assessment of each acquisition outlining key changes for colleagues through data analysis Support the Head of People M&A in maintaining a smooth, well-structured project plan

Essential Skills and Experience:




Broad generalist HR/People knowledge and experience, including general employment law, TUPE, remuneration, talent management, employee relations and organisational development Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret large amounts of data Strong stakeholder management experience with multidisciplinary professional groups of varying levels of seniority A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues and design solutions independently Strong project management and organisation skills; able to work effectively across multiple projects at once An advanced user of Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Tech-savvy able to get the best out of new and existing technologies Proven ability to respect confidentiality and commercial sensitivity

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:



A legal sector background is not required, however experience of working in professional services would be beneficial.
