People Platform Specialist

The People Platform specialist is a crucial role in the EMEA People Operations Platform Team. This role works on more technical enhancement projects, data initiatives and supports Operations Hub leads and other COE\'s in technical and/or complex projects including system/Payroll integrations, M&A activities and manages the compensation cycle project for EMEA People Operations.

People Platform Specialist will have responsibility to operationally support and deliver improvements to components of the People Platform which operate in EMEA. People Platform is defined as the HR systems, processes, data, vendors and policies that align to deliver core HR services to CBRE Employees.

The role has primary responsibility as the Subject Matter Expert/Process Owner for one or multiple functional areas of HR, which may include, Core HRIS, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Reporting & Analytics, Vendor management, Policy and Compliance or could act a functional expert for Centres of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development.

Internal Clients: Regional & Country People Operations, Country People Leads, COE, D&T

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Support

Is the Functional day to day Business Owner for at least one HR functional area across multiple countries in EMEA

Hold and maintain knowledge and experience of the functional capabilities of the systems in use within the People function, e.g. Peoplesoft, ServiceNow, EDM tool, Payroll, Kronos etc.

Assesses change requests to process, policy, system, or operations in Core Functional Area to identify risks and provide recommendations for implementation.

Defines new processes in conjunction with other Shared Services partners and manages existing processes required for efficient operations and governance.

Advise on functional capabilities are and how those functions could be deployed to solve business problems and drive improvements.

Supports EMEA Country Hub leads with improving processes, looking for functional deployment opportunities, streamlining manual processes and implementing standard policies and practices within

Investigates issues or service failures to understand root cause and propose solutions in conjunction with other functional teams and/or Vendors

Participates and may lead functional focused committees or work groups to share knowledge and encourage best practice.

For functional area of responsibility, tracks country issues for commonality and delivers on solutions in conjunction with Vendors, SSC, HRIS or other CBRE Corporate partners

Project Delivery

Defines business problems and works with relevant subject matter experts, such as Finance Governance, HRIS, HR Analytics, Compensation & Benefits to define requirements, define business processes, test changes and support go live.

Manage People Systems change projects from initiation to closure including managing plans, risks, issues and dependencies liaising with technical project managers and People Operations leaders as required to ensure timely and effective delivery of change

Collaborate with Project team and business SME during the project planning phase to establish project plans, set expectations regarding the scope of the project and key activities and communicate timing to agreed project standards.

Assist in the development and support Communications and change management activities

Support the HR systems integration / enhancements - Technology Roadmap with HRIS

Support and coordinate the functional training requirements and material, including SOP documents.

Completes testing and maintain user acceptance testing scenarios and scripts across the platform

Provide regular and frequent Reporting / Status updates to the Regional Leaders / Stakeholders of the progress

Identify and report any Risks and Issues that may delay or cause any deliverables for the project to be \'off track\'

Gathers requirements to design efficient solutions, is able to work across new areas with minimal experience, learning on the job.

Key Experience & skills:

Strong functional experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM

Other Operational tools EDM, Absence Management, Service Now

Proven experience in Project Management, Agile Methodology is preferred.

Strong knowledge of HR/Payroll data and Analytics

Excellent ability to build working relationships both vertically and laterally across the organization

Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to express and state ideas clearly

Proactively seeks opportunities to work with teams and develop experience and knowledge.

Strong analytical skills, and the ability approach a complex problem or task by breaking it down

Good customer focus and the ability to listen and clarify requirements and expectations.

Experience as a Functional Analyst or Project Manager on PeopleSoft 9.2 with Absence Management, Global Payroll, Core HCM, MSS & ESS

Proficient in using Microsoft applications like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
