We are looking for three experienced People Change and Project professionals to manage the delivery of transformation and projects across our People Team and wider business. In this key role, you will shape and implement change initiatives aligned with our strategic People Plan and wider Heathrow objectives.


Collaboration will be at the heart of your work, as you build strong relationships within the People function, across various business areas, and with external partners. Working within a matrix structure, you will deliver impactful People projects and programmes that span all areas of Heathrow.


Partnering with the Extended People Leadership Team (EPLT), Areas of Expertise, Strategic Business Partners and other stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in delivering critical change interventions that maximise business benefits and ensure investment is optimised. Your focus will be on driving engagement and supporting our vision to make Heathrow an extraordinary place to work.



The delivery of people transformation projects by applying established change and project management frameworks, ensuring alignment with strategic plans. Creating and executing strategies that boost colleague engagement, minimise resistance to change, and integrate communications and stakeholder management into all project phases. Conducting impact assessments and readiness analyses to inform planning, as well as delivering tailored change interventions such as communications, training, and engagement activities across relevant business areas. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, providing progress updates, evaluating project outcomes, and continually seeking opportunities for improvement. Offering guidance in project, change, and communications management, monitoring effectiveness, adjusting plans based on feedback, and embedding lessons learned for ongoing improvement.

Previous experience of managing and delivering impactful change projects within a complex organisation. Working knowledge of change management principles and tools, with the ability to apply these in a structured and pragmatic way. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships across the business. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience of presenting to and influencing senior management. Comfortable working in dynamic environments with ambiguity, tight deadlines, and evolving priorities, with strong resilience and determination to succeed through challenges.

Ideally you'll also have:



Experience of working in and knowledge of the operation of People / HR functions. A formal project management qualification, such as APM. A formal change management qualification, such as Prosci.

Working Location



Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
