What you'll be doing
Provide clear, consistent first?line advice to managers and employees on routine ER matters, including absence, performance, flexible working and probation
Act as the key coordination point for the People Relations team, ensuring communication flows smoothly and actions are completed on time
Support ER casework through effective advice, documentation, note?taking and follow?up
Maintain accurate case records and produce high?quality reporting and dashboards to support data?driven decision?making
Assist with fact?finding on ER queries, escalating more complex matters where required
Work closely with People Operations and Payroll, acting as the conduit to ensure information is accurate and processes align
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of policies, letters and guidance
Support wider HR projects and initiatives that enhance our employee experience and People strategy
About You
What you'll bring
Experience supporting or handling employee relations cases (e.g. absence, performance, flexible working and probation)
Working knowledge of HR policies, processes and the fundamentals of employment law
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards Level 5) is desirable
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain ER processes clearly and professionally
Confidence, empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive conversations
Excellent organisation skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and produce accurate reporting
A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues across the HR function
A commitment to confidentiality, integrity and delivering high?quality service

Working hours
This is a hybrid role, with flexibility dependent on business needs. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00. The role also includes travel to other sites across the UK, as required.
