People Team (HR) Manager 40k - 45k
+ extra 18% of salary paid into pension + 45 days' paid holiday per year
Barnstaple (approx 1 hr from Exeter and Taunton).
We're looking for an HR professional with a great track record of people management, employee relations and coaching of managers. You'll be the driving force behind our People Team, fostering a culture of high standards in everything we do, be it customer service, casework, recruitment or training.
What you'll be doing...
Leading, coaching and motivating our People Team to deliver a high-quality, pragmatic and solution-focussed service to the college Driving improvements in processes and systems Overseeing compliance with employment law, safeguarding and safer recruitment Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, growth, and operational excellence Leading the development of people management skills across college
What we're looking for...
An experienced, confident, supremely organised HR professional Great communication, influencing and coaching skills People management experience High standards and a reputation for getting things done Experience of successfully resolving a wide range of tricky people problems
