Hours of Work: 15 hours per week (including evenings, weekends, matchdays, and travel as required)

About the Club:

King's Lynn Town Football Club is an ambitious club competing in the National League North. We are committed to creating an elite football environment and are seeking a forward-thinking, motivated individual to join as a First Team Performance Analyst.

Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for a focused and detail-driven Performance Analyst to support the First Team. The role involves delivering pre- and post-match analysis, distributing player footage, and providing insights to contribute to tactical planning and player development. The successful candidate will work closely with the coaching staff to deliver clear, accurate, and timely information that supports performance outcomes.

The Role:

Support the collection, analysis and distribution of match and training data ensuring players and coaches have a clear understanding.

Create and distribute individual player clips and team footage.

Film and capture First Team matches and training sessions.

Prepare pre-match opposition reports.

Provide pre-, in-game and post-match analysis.

Undertake any additional tasks as directed by club management.

Applicant Qualification/ Experience:

Essential:

Graduated/ completing a sandwich year from a BSc Sports Performance or a related field.

Being committed, punctual and professional at all times, receptive to feedback and skilled in building relationships with other members of the team.

Adhere to strict code of confidentiality on matters relating to King's Lynn Town FC and its operations.

A commitment to a career in performance analysis or data analysis.

Ability to carry out solo projects, as well as work part of a team fitting with the work ethic of the club.

Have a positive attitude towards the role and around the environment

Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Outstanding people skills with the capacity to build relationships.

Flexibility around work hours due to the nature of our business.

Experience working with HUDL/Sportscode.

Experience working with Data-Providers, Wyscout, StatsBomb, Opta

and Iscout7.

Organised, reliable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Own or have access to a MacBook.

Holds a Full UK driving licence and has regular access to a vehicle.

Desirable:

Strong understanding of the physical and tactical demands of elite football.

Previous experience in an elite sport or football environment.

Experience working as a Team analyst at a professional football club.

Based in Norfolk or surrounding areas.

Willing to commit to the full 2025/26 season, with the successful candidate starting in July/August 2025.
