JOB TITLE: Performance Manager



REPORTS TO: The Practice Manager



HOURS: 24 hours a week Tuesday - Friday 6 hours day -Hours to be confirmed.



Brinsworth & Whiston Medical Centre are current looking to recruit an experienced Performance Manager.

The post holder will be responsible for the generation and analysis of clinical and non-clinical information to ensure the practice meets the quality targets and clinical standards set by the practice and by the wider NHS.

The person appointed will work closely with all the clinicians, the Management Team and other members of the practice team to develop and implement the systems needed to meet the fast-changing requirements of modern General Practice.

The post holder would be Responsible for the timely preparation, submission, and follow-up of all claims (e.g. PPA, CQRS, PCN-related activity, and Local Enhanced Services). Maintain accurate records of claimable activity and ensure robust systems are in place to maximise practice income.

Job Summary:



Take full responsibility for producing information on performance and quality standards within the practice.

Conduct data analysis and support the interpretation of clinical data using statistical methods.

Analyze, investigate, and interpret complex data, assisting with planning and monitoring activities related to Directed National and Local Enhanced Services and the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF).

Support the reception manager with clinical IT systems and help resolve hardware and software issues.

Collaborate closely with nursing staff to review practice performance against key performance indicators, including the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF).

Strategically review and oversee the patient call and recall systems.

Maintain registers for patients with long-term conditions.

Participate in internal and external meetings as well as Protected Learning Time training sessions.

Provide the Practice Manager with a monthly update on practice performance in key areas.

To manage and plan all clinical rota

To support the development of templates and processes to standardise data collection for performance monitoring.

Support the Practice Manager in embedding a culture of patient-centred service and continuous improvement.

Managing clinical and non-clinical complaints, incidents, and significant event reviews.

Contribute to policy development, quality improvements

The role includes working across more than one site

Undertake any other additional duties commensurate to the post as requested by the Practice Manager

Work within practice guidelines and processes to ensure financial and security controls and good employment practice are maintained.

You will be required to work flexibly and may be required to work over 5 days as requested

Person Specification



Essential experience in a primary care

Essential experience in System one

Strong administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Experience with claims processes, income tracking, and performance monitoring Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work independently

Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical systems (

Desirable Familiarity with CQC standards, Enhanced Services, and NHS contract requirements
