Location: Within the East Anglia area to include: Lincoln, Peterborough, Huntingdon,
Northampton, Milton Keynes, Norfolk and Colchester
Contract: Permanent/Full time

Comprising of Anglian Water, MGroup, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base.
What will you be doing as our Performance Manager?
The Performance Manager is a key senior leadership role, responsible for creating and leading a fully functional and professionally recognised performance team. They understand the service needs of their customers and stakeholders and will optimise the set of services to be deployed in the performance by improving the breadth and/or maturity of services available. They will lead a critical performance team to deliver the required set of services.
Ensuring the governance and oversight of Anglian Water's IOS investment programme. This role encompasses full accountability for capital and operational expenditure (TOTEX), providing robust insight, analysis, and reporting across multiple governance forums.
This role requires the ability to operate and collaborate at a strategic level with Change Leaders and business units/Portfolio leaders to optimise the delivery of change. They'll do this by offering trusted insight to support decision making, assure delivery and identify improvement opportunities, as well as supporting to enable coordinated and synchronised delivery.
They'll also play the role of a critical for the IOS Programme Managers and leadership teams, by growing the understanding of best practice approaches to delivery and core processes as well as offering open and transparent coaching to improve the effectiveness of Projects and Professional capability. Lastly, the role will play a critical role in the overall evolution and continuous improvement of performance capability in commercial operations.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behavioursExperience in a project/programme/portfolio delivery leadership role
Proven experience of setting up and running Performance teams at a senior leadership level
Programme management qualification or equivalent experience
Significant experience in issue resolution and risk management
Significant experience in leadership, change management and influencing across multiple functions with a demonstrated success in developing and advancing processes
Proven understanding of programme and project delivery processes
Thorough understanding & experience of delivering projects of work to deliver capability & cost savings
Excellent communication & relationship building skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
Strong organisational, prioritisation and risk management skills
Drive efficiency & cost-effectiveness by understanding who my customers are, what they value & then acting upon it
Balance business outcomes with commercial and customer realities
Actively break down barriers across silos for truly collaborative outcomes
Demonstrate personal resilience through change and setbacks
take ownership for problems or requests made of me and explain what I will do
