The Gig

As our Performance Marketing Director (UK), you'll own the day-to-day delivery of AEO and Paid Media campaigns; from setup to optimisation and reporting. You'll be the go-to expert who makes performance happen: overseeing campaigns, driving results, while also shaping how we scale our AEO and Paid Media capabilities of today and our adjacent services of the future.

Working alongside our Global Head of Performance Marketing, you'll lead the delivery of teams based in UK, India and US managing campaigns, with local freelancers, and partner specialists in the UK, ensuring every campaign launches on time, tracks correctly, and delivers measurable impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Collaborating with Account and Strategy leads to turn client briefs into executable campaign plans and ensure results are clearly communicated. Owning campaign delivery across AEO and Paid Media, from setup, QA, tracking, and tagging, through to optimisation and reporting. Leading campaign delivery teams operating in Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, while ensuring technical AEO initiatives are implemented across priority UK clients. Building and managing always-on optimisation cycles, identifying trends, testing creative and audience variables, and improving conversion performance. Establishing best practice process and operations, by setting up clear standard operating procedures to ensure consistent delivery, with clear instructions, and fast turnarounds. Reporting on performance with actionable insights, explaining results to non-technical audiences and feeding back into planning cycles. Supporting new business pitches by producing strategies media plans, forecasts, and data-led recommendations grounded in real campaign experience. Building and training team, raising hands-on capability across the UK performance marketing function.

About You

Proven experience in hands-on performance marketing delivery, not just planning and strategy. You are equally comfortable writing strategy as generating ad copy, leading the set up of tracking, and guiding optimisation strategies. Deep understanding of AEO, SEO, and Paid Media principles, including structured data and automation for AI visibility. Strong platform knowledge: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager; familiarity with GA4 and Looker Studio. A proactive problem-solver who loves getting into the details of what drives performance and how to fix inefficiencies. Confident communicator, able to explain results, recommend improvements, and collaborate across functions. Experience managing multiple campaigns and markets simultaneously in an agency environment. A balance of strategic understanding and executional rigour, you can zoom out to plan but thrive most when making campaigns perform both for paid and organic.
