We are looking to recruit a Performance Sport Manager who will lead on the strategic development of performance sport at Imperial including the delivery of strength and conditioning programs for Imperial Athlete Performance Teams and scholarship athletes, to support service improvement and partnership development.
What you would be doing

Predominantly based at the South Kensington Campus and Boat House in Putney you will be expected to coordinate the delivery of all key support services to our scholarship athletes and performance teams.
The role will involve liaising with National Governing Bodies regarding pathway athletes and support services regarding the wellness of our scholarship athletes and performance teams. This includes ensuring we remain a UKAD partner and develop our Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) relationship.
You will be expected to develop a performance programme that supports dual-career athletes while at Imperial and maintain a strong performance record across regional, national and international competitions.
What we are looking for

Level 3 or above Fitness Qualification
Experience in managing and motivating a busy team with changing priorities
Delivering training programmes and assessments to high performance athletes
Delivering strength and conditioning sessions to groups and individuals
Mentoring elite student athletes and experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams
Understanding of Equal Opportunities within the context of a student leisure environment
Health & Safety Legislation
To work with a diverse range of people, including students, academic and non-academic staff and the local community
The position is available on a full-time, permanent contract with the successful candidate being willing to work at other locations, mornings, evenings, and weekends (on a 5 out of 7-day contract).
