Job Description

As a practitioner you are responsible for bridging the gap between our customers' needs and technical solutions. Your primary responsibilities main responsibility is to guide and lead the team on Scaled Agile Framework values, principles, and the Scrum framework.
In your role, you will have responsibility for deliverables and client stakeholder relationships and will be delivering solutions for our clients using agile methodologies. You will often be working in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries, subject matters and locations.
Our projects vary greatly and your responsibility as a consultant will differ based on the focus of the client engagement and your skillset, but could include and may require you to:

  • Defining large and complex performance test approaches for test delivery
  • Working with business and technical stakeholders to understand and clarify the Non-functional Requirements
  • Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a testing activity
  • Reviewing non-functional test practices and coaching the team on improvement opportunities
  • Working with other technical teams to identify and deliver the required test environments, data, tools and monitors
  • Working with key stakeholders at the client, building strong trusted relationships
Candidates will have hands on experience with one or more technologies relevant to these areas:
  • Strong understanding of the performance testing lifecycle from planning through to test execution and reporting
  • Experience of testing within an agile delivery environment
  • Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a testing activity
  • Proven commercial experience of writing, maintaining and executing performance test scripts
  • Performance test tool expertise, e.g. JMeter / Gatling / K6/ LoadRunner / NeoLoad
  • Experience of working with and understanding solution architecture for cloud applications, e.g. AWS / Azure / GCP
  • AWS Cloud Certified, other cloud providers also beneficial
  • Deep understanding of application monitoring and tools expertise (such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics)
  • Client-facing experience
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience)
  • Test management tool expertise (such as JIRA or HP ALM)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven technical ability - combined with strong business acumen
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environment
  • Strong academic record
  • Proven ability to lead small teams
Additional desirable experience includes:
  • A proven track record in a top tier consultancy
  • Strong Agile experience, Scrum/Kanban knowledge
  • Experience with protocol based monitoring tools e.g. Fiddler
  • Demonstrable experience of systems tuning and optimisation
  • Exposure to NFT in a DevOps environment
