Summary

We are seeking a passionate Dance, Drama & Musical Theatre Teachers to join our team at Born To Perform Academy in Spondon, Derby. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the next generation of performers by delivering engaging and effective dance instruction tailored to children aged 3 and up.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate dance curricula that inspire creativity and skill development. Conduct engaging dance classes for children of various skill levels. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression. Abilities to choreograph to acompetition standard. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance the overall performing arts program. Organize and participate in performances, showcasing students' talents. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and class activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role, particularly with children. Strong knowledge of various dance styles and teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning atmosphere. Passion for working with children and fostering their artistic development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour
