Performing Arts, Music and Media Technician



21,283 - 21,627 per annum for 36.25 hours per week, college staff term time only.

We're looking for a Performing Arts, Music and Media (PAMM) Technician to join our talented Academy of Creative Arts team at Blackpool Sixth. This is a permanent, term-time role with occasional extra hours for shows and events - because when the curtain goes up, the magic happens!

As part of our dynamic Academy of Creative Arts PAMM department, you'll help our students shine in our state-of-the-art facilities - including a 300-seat theatre, recording and performance studios, editing suite, dance studio and two drama studios. We host over 20 performances a year and offer both BTEC and A Level courses, so no two days are ever the same.

A day in your new role could see you:

Setting up and programming lighting for shows and gigs Mixing sound, editing music and sourcing sound effects Prepping instruments and checking studio kit is show-ready Supporting students as they learn studio recording and production skills Helping teachers bring creative projects to life
If you've got a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a music-related subject, great communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach - you'll fit right in.
