About the role


Vision for Education are recruiting for Performing Arts Specialists to work in Secondary schools across the Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral areas on a part or full time basis.
  • Teaching pre-set Key Stage 3/4 students
  • No planning, marking or assessing
  • Working with children aged from 11 through to 16 years old
  • Managing an average class size in the absence of a teacher
  • Flexible accommodating days

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Performing Arts Specialist you will:
  • Have a minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build a good rapport with students and staff
  • A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check that is on the Update Service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check that is on the Update Service
