Teacher of Performing Arts Needed in Walsall, West Midlands.

A large secondary school in Walsall are seeking to appoint a Performing Arts Teacher to start work in the new academic year. The post is on a term by term basis, with the potential of leading to a long-term contract for the right Performing Arts Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach and has high expectations of learning.
The timetable will consist of delivering engaging lessons in Drama, Music and Dance as well as taking direction from the Head of Department to positivity impact student performance.
In return, the Performing Arts Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.
Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants need to have:
- QTS with a Performing Arts specialism
- Experience teaching up to at least KS4
- Strong classroom management
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
