Peripatetic SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant

A level 3 EYFS qualification is required for this post

Initial Deployment to Ash Croft Primary Academy

35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 days)

Grade E, (SCP 10 - 14) - 27,694 - 29,540 (pro rata to hours worked)

The Board of Trustees wish?to provide?an opportunity for an enthusiastic Peripatetic SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in as part of the Inclusion Hub across our Derby academies. Deployment will initially be to Ash Croft Primary Academy however future deployment could be supporting children in any of our academies in the Derby area or via an Inclusion Hub provision.???

The?successful?candidates will have:???

A passion and commitment to working with children with Special Educational Needs and Early Years Understanding of the barriers to learning that children with special educational needs may face and be able to use effective strategies to support them Experience of developing learning resources that scaffold and support learning Awareness of child development and knowledge of how children learn Experience of?Working with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience EYFS Level 3 qualification Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework Completion of Department for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (or?to complete within first term)
