We currently have a brilliant opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business and managing existing client relationships within the gates and barriers sector. You will represent our brand with professionalism, providing expert advice and tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.



Working with Sales Director to ensure the company hits sales budget and continues to perform. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the gates and barriers market. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and suppliers. Conduct site visits and assessments to determine client needs and recommend suitable products. Prepare and present quotations, proposals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project delivery and customer satisfaction. Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives. Working with Sales Directors to help grow the business and take it in the right direction for the types of works/projects we seek to secure. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails; cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business. Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries; acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers; Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales; gathering market and customer information; Site surveys and drawings where required. Representing FBS-Hormann at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations if required; Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy; advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions; Submitting tenders as required including completion of paperwork as required. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations, a costing sheet to be compiled to each quotation to ensure quoting to agreed margins Attending team meeting/general meeting's as required and sharing best practice with colleagues.

Candidate Requirements



Proven experience in a sales role within the

gates, barriers, access control, or related security industry

(essential). Strong technical understanding of automated gate and barrier systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly motivated with a results-driven approach and strong commercial awareness. Full UK driving licence.

Working Hours



Monday - Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm

Friday- 8:00am-16:00pm
