We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist to join our thriving dental practice Pomfret & Farrell in Chelmsford. As a vital member of our team, you will provide specialised treatments and other periodontic procedures to our diverse patient base. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our collaborative work environment.
Working every other Friday
Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnose complex dental conditions requiring periodontic treatment
Conduct a wide range of periodontic procedures,
Utilise advanced dental imaging technology
Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Educate patients on procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies through continuous professional development
Maintain detailed patient records and treatment documentation
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Participate in case discussions and share expertise with colleagues

Qualifications
Valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
Dental degree with specialisation in periodontics
Proven experience in performing a wide range of procedures
Proficiency in using advanced dental imaging technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with the latest endodontic techniques
Empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on creating a comfortable environment
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
