We are now seeking a

Peripatetic Manager

- a flexible, highly skilled leader who will support our homes in times of change, drive quality improvements and provide strong leadership where it is most needed.

The Role




As a Peripatetic Manager, you will act as both a hands-on Registered Manager and a supportive troubleshooter, stepping into different care settings to ensure consistency, stability, and the highest standards of care.

About The Role



Key Responsibilities



Acting Manager

- Assume full Registered Manager duties where required, ensuring regulatory and operational compliance.

Turnaround Support

- Assess and implement action plans to improve underperforming homes, driving quality, compliance, and occupancy.

Operational Oversight

- Support managers and teams with care planning, medication, safeguarding and governance.

Quality & Compliance

- Lead audits, monitor outcomes and embed best practice to meet CQC standards.

Financial & Business Management

- Oversee budgets, resources, and occupancy strategies to ensure long-term sustainability.

Staff Development

- Coach, mentor and develop teams, fostering a positive culture and high staff morale.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Build strong relationships with residents, families, colleagues, local authorities and health professionals.

About You




We're looking for an adaptable leader with proven success in care home management, ideally with turnaround or multi-site experience.

Essential Skills & Experience



Demonstrable success as a Registered Manager, ideally across multiple settings. Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and clinical governance. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire. Financial and business acumen, with experience improving occupancy and reputation. Flexible and resilient, able to travel and embed yourself quickly into new environments.
