We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Bristol for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The role is full time however part time applications will be considered if the nurse is able to work Thursdays and Fridays. There is a 1:6 full weekend rota and time off in lieu if working full time or for part time there is a 1:12 paid weekend rota.

The role:
  • This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys every day being different.
  • The role involves all aspects of nursing and offer the opportunity to focus on developing nursing skills and any clinical passions. The practice encourage additional training and also encourage learning management skills.
  • The Nurse will be working alongside two other nurses and a student nurse and an animal care assistant.
  • The role offers a good work/life balance with flexible rota patterns to suit a good work / life balance.
About them:
  • 1st Opinion small animal practice - part of a large group across the area.
  • Whilst the role is based at Winterbourne the branch surgery close by will becoming a feline only practice in September. The Nurse will have the opportunity to contribute to the building of this new service.
  • The practice is fully equipped with facilities offering a wide range of diagnostics and services including x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, in house laboratory and separate cat and dog wards.
  • They offer a great work / life balance and provide support to one another as a team.
  • The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

Package
  • Salary: Up to \xc2\xa330,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
