PERSONAL ASSISTANT 3 HOURS PER WEEK

I am a 14 year old boy who is looking for a personal assistant to help and encourage me socially to access the community. I need someone who can keep me safe with supervision and encourage me with my speech and confidence. I have downs syndrome and my speech is partial but I express myself well for you to understand what I like or dislike. I also have a weakness in my physical strength on my left side, I can walk but sometimes need an arm to stable me down steps or stairs.

I would like my personal assistant to take me out and about in the local community, I love sports and being outdoors. I also like technology, my IPAD and mobile phones.

Tasks and Duties

The role will include taking me out and about in the local community.

Working Hours / Pay of Rate

3 hours per week at a rate of 14 per hour and mileage can be claimed at 0.40 pence per mile.

Essential requirements:

Someone with experience of care and supporting disabilities.

Car driver with their own vehicle.

Training will be received on the job.

About The job

Salary Frequency - Calendar Monthly.

Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period.

Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS police check at no cost to yourself.
