Job Description

PERSONAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT 15 HOURS PER WEEK

I am a 19 year old male looking for a personal assistant to help and encourage me socially to access the community. I would like someone with experience as I have learning difficulties and use PECS to communicate. My mobility is poor. I can walk a few steps supported but I also use a wheelchair when out and about.

I want my personal assistant to take me out and about in the local community, I love being a passenger in the car and also like swimming and outdoor activities. I would like to be more social and have independence from my family who care for me.

Tasks and Duties

The role will include taking me out on leisure activities and to appointments.

Working Hours / Pay of Rate

15 hours per week at a rate of 14.50p/h. 35 miles a week can be used and claimed at 0.40 pence per mile.

Essential requirements:

Someone with experience of care and supporting learning difficulties.

Car driver with their own vehicle.

Training will be received on the job.

About The job

Salary Frequency - Calendar Monthly.

Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period.

Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS police check at no cost to yourself.
