The Opportunity
As Personal Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you'll play an important role in helping our CFO manage a busy and varied workload. You'll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, providing high-level administrative support and ensuring that communications, schedules and confidential matters are handled efficiently and with discretion.
You'll take ownership of diary management, meeting coordination, and email communications, helping our CFO stay organised and well-prepared. From gathering and collating information to producing accurate reports and minutes, your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be key.
In this role, you'll maintain systems for document storage and retrieval, manage a small expenditure budget, and ensure financial records are kept up to date. You'll also be a point of contact for staff, visitors and external partners, representing the CFO and other senior leaders with professionalism and confidence.
You'll be trusted to speak on behalf of the CFO when needed, respond to queries, and coordinate meetings and conferences. Your written communication skills will be put to good use in drafting correspondence, proofreading documents, and ensuring everything you produce is clear and accurate.

About You
You'll play an integral role in supporting the smooth running of the CFO's office. You'll provide high-level administrative support, managing communications, schedules and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion. Your ability to handle both routine responsibilities and unexpected challenges will be key to keeping things on track.
You'll take ownership of extensive diary management, ensuring meetings are well-organised and the CFO's time is used effectively. You'll coordinate agendas, prepare documentation, and take accurate minutes, following up on action points to ensure progress is maintained. Your experience in meeting organisation and administration will help you manage these tasks confidently and efficiently.

Required
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/Level 2 or above)
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Office experience in fast-paced environments
Skilled in meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking
Proven ability to handle routine and unexpected tasks professionally
Strong diary management experience
Effective task coordination under tight deadlines without compromising quality
