I am neurodivergent (diagnosed with autism and ADHD), a wheelchair user, and have multiple chronic illnesses. I am looking for a personal assistant to enable me to continue working full time in my demanding, senior level role in the charity sector.
Someone who is clear, direct and open with their communication. Has a great sense of humour, life experience, and the knack to make things just better. Someone who is down to earth with a fun, relaxed personality and non-judgemental. You'll be an organising whizz, and want to be an active part of my working and home life.
From handling the shopping, food stocks, lunches and snacks, to helping me manage my diary, deadlines and admin - your role will be helping me stay organised, healthy and supported. You will be able to work independently, proactively sorting things out so I don't have to, and helping create and maintain the structure that allows me to focus on my work whilst maintaining my physical and mental health. It is vital you understand appropriate boundaries whilst respecting privacy, independence and confidentiality.
You will also be managing the team of other carers who support me in my personal life - ensuring I've got adequate cover for holidays, sickness and managing communication.
If you are excited by the idea of a varied role where you will be empowering someone to live a more productive and independent life, I would love to talk to you.
