We are seeking a Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a young man with autism This role involves assisting with daily activities, and accessing the community, he enjoys walking , swimming going out to shops and cafes
Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist with medication reminders and health monitoring as required.
Engage in behaviour management techniques to support client with specific needs.
Facilitate social interaction and companionship through conversation and activities.
Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning.
Go to appointments or social outings as needed.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in his behaviour to relevant parties.
Qualifications
Previous experience in patient care or home care settings is preferred but not essential .
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and caring attitude.
Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.60-15.95 per hour
