Personal Assistant / Carer (Self-Employed or Willing to Register) - 12.21/hr + 90 Overnight

: 12.21 per hour (daytime) / 90 per overnight shift

: Fridays & Saturdays (evenings out + overnights) + occasional weekdays

About Me:

My name is Rhys Bowler, I'm 37, and I live independently in Treforest with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a severe muscle-wasting condition. I use a powered wheelchair and ventilator 24/7, and I rely on a team of self-employed carers to help me live life to the fullest -- including social outings, concerts, cinema trips, and pub nights. I'm looking for

someone down-to-earth, strong, reliable, and chill

to join my team.

What I Need:

Someone who can work

Friday and Saturday evenings and overnights

Available for

flexible extra hours

when needed (occasional weekday shifts)
Can support me

on social nights out

(pubs, cinema, live gigs -- must be comfortable in those settings)
Must hold a

full UK driving licence

and be confident driving my van
Comfortable with

manual handling, hoisting, and personal care

Respectful, reliable, and able to work on your own initiative

Self-Employment:

I

prefer to work with self-employed carers

-- but if you're not registered yet,

I'll help you get set up

Pay is

12.21 per hour daytime

and

90 flat rate for overnight care (11pm-9am)

Invoicing is easy -- payment every 4 weeks
You'll work under a self-employment agreement, not a traditional employment contract
Must be committed and dependable --
