Sequoia Genetics is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and discreet
Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
. This is a full-time, office-based role supporting the CEO in both professional and personal day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO's schedule and engagements, both within the company and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary support for the CEO, ensuring their daily schedule is managed efficiently.
Provide in-office support including preparing breakfast, lunch, and hot drinks, and ensuring the CEO's nutritional needs are met.
Notify the CEO of daily diary entries and upcoming commitments.
Arrange all travel logistics, including transport for meetings, and travel within the UK and internationally.
Serve as the point of contact between the CEO and internal teams, providing daily updates on team activities and ongoing initiatives.
Accompany the CEO to meetings and events, take comprehensive meeting minutes, and ensure follow-ups are actioned.
Coordinate all in-person meetings including guest arrangements, catering, visitor passes, and access.
Provide occasional personal support to the CEO, such as assistance with fitness planning, gifting, and booking personal activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
Comfortable using office software and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
Confident working independently and collaboratively.
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Prior experience as a personal or executive assistant is advantageous.
