Job Description

On behalf of the Environment Agency, we are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant (Inside IR35) for a hybrid based in London, Birmingham or Warrington contract to run up until 31/3/26.



This position is ideal for ambitious university leavers looking to start their professional journey.



As a Personal Assistant , your main responsibilities will be:



Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to one or two senior managers. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in handling tasks. Compose non-routine correspondence. Compile reports and prepare documentation. Transcribe dictation accurately. Type documents using word processing or spreadsheet software. Receive and assist visitors professionally. Screen and direct incoming telephone calls. Manage diaries and schedules effectively. Arrange meetings and coordinate travel plans. Maintain records and filing systems.

Essential:



Highly organized and self-starting. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills. Ability to balance multiple tasks effectively. Confident with diary management and scheduling. Ability to respond to emails promptly and professionally.
