What you would be doing...
Activities in the Home & Community
Supporting with community activities such as walks, shopping, farm visits, bowling, crazy golf, and craft sessions.
Encouraging participation in activities that promote confidence, creativity, and independence.
Supporting with some aspects of self-care when needed, including preparing food and drinks and occasional help with dressing (zips, buttons, shoelaces, socks).
Providing calm, patient support during periods of emotional distress.
Working alongside other carers when 2:1 support is required and following guidance from health professionals.
Required skills and experience
Female PA
required.
Must be a
driver with own car and business insurance
.
Experience of working with
children or young people with autism
is preferred.
Experience and/or training in complex mental health needs is essential.
Must be reliable, consistent, and able to build a trusting relationship.
Flexible and creative in planning enjoyable, meaningful activities.
