PERSONAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED
I am seeking reliable, person centred and enthusiastic individuals to support a me for 2 - 3 days per week to help me achieve my goals and be as independent as possible About the roleI am looking for support on a weekly basis for an average of 20 hours per week I have been told that I am a lovely guy with a great personality - a joy to support! I am quietly spoken but very socialable and loves being in the company of my peers. I am massively into music especially Elvis and like to be involved in anything related to music - singing , dancing etc I live with my mum and dad, and a brother who no longer lives at home. My family are very supportive and help me to live a full and meaningful life. I like to be occupied with things that interest me, and routine and consistence is key to reducing my anxieties. He have quadriplegic cerebral palsy, a learning disability and a slight speech impediment. I am a happy individual, and able to make decisions about what i do on a day to day basis. I'm healthy and proud of the fact that I do not need to take any prescribed medications. I like to feel independent and attend clubs and activities with my peers and support workers rather than with my parents. I need carers who are able to drive my mobility vehicle will be required. The day will start with supporting me with my morning routine including personal care and helping me get ready for the day. The support will involve supporting me to get out and about, accessing the social groups. I use a wheelchair and hoists for any transfers
The kind of person I am looking for

Days and Times required
Wednesday 8.15am - 4pm Friday 8.15am - 4pm Every other Saturday 10am - 5pm
Necessary Training:
PA Induction certificate
Moving and Positioning
Hourly Rate16.29 per hour
Location - Leeswood - Flintshire
If not already in place you will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
